Railway ..... Spread the word around ... !!!

Hi all,

The real issue is not "the presence or absence of option for printing" at the website ! They are clearly mentioning on the opening page of their website that "travel without print-out of e-tickets"..In that case, it should be uniformly implemented and no authority , let it be the TTE or the personnel at the railway station should insist on the print out of tickets for any purpose...Let it be for verification inside the train or let it be for modification of already "booked tickets" at the railway station !  If we are very serious about being "environment friendly" and about "saving trees", then all tickets need to be made e-tickets... Just like the way airlines have done ..

In this era where, tablet PCs and smartphones are available anywhere and everywhere, fitting into everybody's pocket and budget, why don't the administration take it seriously and implement the concept of e-tickets seriously ? Now, almost all persons carry print outs, assuming that the TTE may insist on that...Nobody is sure about anything...

The concept of "saving trees" is going the same as we implemented "say no to plastics"...

With wishes for a better Tomorrow, with dreams for a better India.
